The private path to multisig
Build a 2-of-3 from devices you own — say a Coldcard, a Trezor, and a phone key — with no company in the quorum and no identity attached. The Nunchuk apps make coordination, which used to be Sparrow-on-hard-mode, genuinely pleasant.
Optional training wheels
If pure DIY worries you, paid tiers add a Nunchuk co-signing key, timelocked inheritance, and emergency assistance — à la carte versions of what Casa and Unchained bundle. You choose your position on the privacy/backstop spectrum.
The responsibility clause
Free-mode Nunchuk means nobody saves you from an untested backup. Rehearse recovery with small amounts first, document the setup for your heirs, and repeat the drill yearly. Multisig removes single points of failure — not the need for discipline.

Is Nunchuk really free?
The core coordination software is free and open source. Payments are only for optional services like their co-signing key and inheritance tooling.
Nunchuk or Sparrow for multisig?
Sparrow is more powerful on desktop; Nunchuk is far better for mobile-inclusive quorums and shared/family wallets. Many use both.
Can my family recover funds if I die?
Only if you plan for it — use the inheritance features or document the quorum for your heirs. Untested plans fail.
