THE SHORT VERSION
We collect as little as possible. No account is needed to read anything. If you subscribe to the newsletter, we keep your email and nothing else. We use Google Analytics — off by default until you accept — and never sell data or ask for wallet addresses or seed phrases.
What we collect
Newsletter email. Stored with our email provider; one-click unsubscribe deletes you.
Contact messages. Kept to reply; resolved threads deleted after 12 months.
Usage analytics. Google Analytics 4 — truncated IP, approximate location, device/browser, referrer, pages viewed. IP anonymisation is on; Google Signals and ad personalisation are off. We never send Google your email.
Opting out. Google's opt-out add-on, Do Not Track, Global Privacy Control, or any content blocker — the site works fully with analytics blocked.
What we don't collect
−No accounts or passwords — the whole site is readable without signing in.
−No wallet addresses, balances, or seed phrases — anyone asking in our name is a scammer.
−No ad trackers, retargeting, or data brokers. We never sell or rent personal information.
Affiliate links and cookies
Clicking an affiliate link takes you to a site with its own privacy policy. Google Analytics sets first-party cookies that expire after two years; consent is required before they're set, and you can change your choice anytime from the Cookie settings link in the footer.
Your rights
Wherever you live (GDPR, UK GDPR, CCPA, or elsewhere): email us and we'll tell you what we hold, correct it, or delete it within 30 days. [email protected]

THE SHORT VERSION
Everything here is education, not financial advice. Bitcoin is volatile — decisions are yours. Our content is ours; some links earn us a commission, always labeled and never a factor in scores.
Not financial, legal, or tax advice
Nothing here — articles, reviews, scores, lessons, glossary entries — is a recommendation to buy or sell any asset. We are publishers, not licensed advisors. Bitcoin can fall to zero and self-custody mistakes are irreversible: never invest more than you can afford to lose.
Accuracy and market data
Content is provided "as is." We correct errors readers report (see corrections policy). Live prices and fee estimates come from third-party sources and may be delayed — verify before acting.
Your use of the site
+Read, share links, quote short excerpts with attribution.
−Don't republish whole articles, scrape for AI training, or misrepresent our reviews.
Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, we are not liable for losses from your use of the site, including investment losses or reliance on delayed data. Governed by the laws of [Jurisdiction]. Questions: [email protected]
Corrections policy
What counts as a correction
A correction fixes a factual error. A clarification adds context. An update reflects something that changed after publication.
How we mark corrections
Every corrected article carries a visible note: "Correction (date): [what changed and why]." We never silently edit a factual claim after publication.
Re-verification cadence
Exchange fees are re-checked monthly, wallet reviews quarterly or on major firmware releases, ETF/IRA pages whenever funds file new disclosures.
How to report an error
Email [email protected] with the page URL and the claim you believe is wrong. Confirmed errors are corrected within 48 hours.
Code of ethics
Personal holdings and trading
Staff may hold bitcoin and use the products we review — we require it for reviewers. No trading any asset covered by an active story within 5 days of publication.
Gifts and hospitality
Reviewers may accept loaner hardware, always disclosed. Staff may not accept cash, gifts, travel, or hospitality from any company we cover.
Advertising firewall
Sales and editorial are organizationally separate. Sponsored content always carries a "Sponsored" label and is never mixed into unlabeled coverage.
Enforcement
Violations are grounds for retraction, published correction, and termination. Report to [email protected].
Editorial standards
Read our full Editorial Standards. The points below are a summary.
Sourcing
Claims are sourced to primary material: filings, exchange status pages, press releases, on-chain data, court documents. We do not rewrite press releases as news.
Reviews and rankings
Scores are set by the author using a published rubric before any commercial relationship is discussed. No company sees or influences a score before publication.
Independence from revenue
Affiliate commissions and sponsorships are handled by a separate business function with no authority over editorial content or story selection.
AI and automation
Software pulls public data into charts and tables; a human checks it before publishing. Analysis and verdicts are written by the named human author.

THE SHORT VERSION
Some links earn us a commission. It never costs you extra, and never changes what we recommend.
Which links earn us money
What commissions never buy
Scores, rankings, or softer criticism — see How we review. Several products we rank highly pay us nothing.
Category sponsorship
Some sections carry a single labelled sponsor. Sponsors see no drafts and cannot change a ranking or score. Full terms on our sponsorship page.
